Species: bison | Location: Yellowstone National Park, United States
Spring has arrived to the Yellowstone National Park, the time to regenerate has begun. Hayden Valley has lost most of its snow and spring bloomers have begun to carpet the spring starved ground. This bison does not have to push away depths of snow in order to get to buried and poor quality vegetation, he can indulge on the new greens… and in related way he can also enjoy the beauty of the surrounding creation.

About The Photographer
I grew up in Eastern Europe, on a small farm, with no running water, no electricity, and very simple mechanical technology to speak of.. When reflecting on that time I see how such childhood experience influenced my strong feelings for the world around me. I saw myself as a real part of this world, where give and take processes were real and integral part of life. Over the years I developed a deep passion for watching and identifying all flora and fauna. I graduated with biological credentials and I'm applying it to the study of genetics. Photography is my parallel passion. It captures precious moments, freezes time, provides us with reasons to reflect and marvel. I want to nurture this passion, keep improving my skills, and ideally help myself and others to deepen our knowledge about what is still unknown about nature.
