Species: Humpback Whale | Location: Charlotte Bay, Antarctica

We were zodiac cruising in Charlotte Bay, Antarctica, looking for whales. They did not disappoint us. We saw numerous whales feeding. The guide then spotted two whales lunge feeding. It was challenging to know where they were going to come up, so I never did get a sharp image of the lunge feeding. At the end, though, one of the whales came up and spy-hopped. This one actually came high enough in the water that the eye is visible.
