A lovely organutan smiles for the camera at Sepilok Orangutan Sanctuary in Borneo.  The sanctuary is a rare gem, as there are only four in the world.  It was founded to help rehabilitate the young or those who had been living in captivity.  Travelers visit this sanctuary on Natural Habitat Adventures' Borneo orangutan adventure.

Eric's illustrious career began in Alaska in 1989, where he worked as a field researcher on many of the state’s diverse animal species, including river otters, waterfowl, moose and reindeer. He also served as the Head Naturalist at Kantishna Roadhouse Lodge in Denali National Park. Read Eric's bio to learn more about him!
