Species: Leopard | Location: Hunda Island, Botswana
This female leopard was actively taking in the surroundings. We reckoned she was hunting. Here she peers straight at us through the branches. This photo was taken while on safari in Botswana with Nat Hab.
About The Photographer
More or less intrepid wild man, been traversing this planet for many years, love photographing the outdoors and its inhabitants. My avocation for photography began with photographing during my years in the U.S. Navy. Thereafter, from time in Saudi Arabia, Colorado and the west, Alaska, and Africa. My place on the planet has always been anchored in Africa, for nearly forty years, both working and traveling on my own. Childhood readings of Martin and Osa Johnson, and even Hemingway juiced those dreams to become reality. Some few of my photos have been published.
