Bugling Mating Call

During a wildlife photo shoot I came across this elk (wapiti) bull. The elk bugle is one of the most thrilling sounds of a misty dawn. This bull had an earlier encounter with a younger male and won the challenge.

About The Photographer

I am a self taught amateur photographer based in Calgary, Alberta Canada. Started when I was given an Instacora F camera for Christmas at 13 years of age, joined the high school photo club and has become my passion ever since. I was invited to join with excellent photographers to go out on an annual photo-shoot to learn and having tremendous fun in the process.
