Species: White-Fronted Bee Eater | Location: Okavango Delta, Bostwana

Botswana's green season provides amazing photographic opportunities, from the largest mammals to the smallest insects.  The bee eater is a relatively common bird in sub-equatorial Africa.  This photo was taken on Nat Hab's Botswana's Green Season Photo Safari.

About The Photographer

Eric's illustrious career began in Alaska in 1989, where he worked as a field researcher on many of the state’s diverse animal species, including river otters, waterfowl, moose and reindeer. He also served as the Head Naturalist at Kantishna Roadhouse Lodge in Denali National Park. Read Eric's bio to learn more about him!
