Species: Alaskan Brown Bear | Location: Katmai National Park, United States of America

This shot was taken in Katmai National Park, Alaska. This male is feeding on a pink salmon. On this day it was overcast with light rain falling most of the day which is why I had to use a high ISO for the camera/lens combination. We spent 5 days camping in different locations in the park where we fished for Salmon and Photographed Bears.

About The Photographer

I have been an amateur nature photographer for about 20 years. Following retirement, I moved from the east coast to Colorado which provides countless opportunities for landscape and wildlife photography both here in Colorado and throughout the Rocky Mountain west.
