This was taken on a bitter cold day around new years. I bundled up and sat on my dad's porch with my camera. The birds were busy at the feeder that day. You can tell it was cold by the way this little guy has his feathers fluffed up.

I learned the basics of photography from my dad when he let me use his old Voigtlander. Over the years I dabbled with it off and on. Now I try to capture the beauty I see in nature. The birds that come to my feeders are some of my favorite subjects.
