This black bear managed to catch a pink wild salmon in Campbell River, British Columbia, Canada. Black bears hunt for wild salmon to fatten up before winter in local rivers and streams.

About The Photographer

I started nature photography in 2002. I have had my images in local galleries, gift shops, libraries and published in Canadian Geographic and published in California, USA. Wildlife, landscapes and cultures, and black and white photography are my main subjects. I also sell my images as art prints to galleries, local people and tourists.
