Species: Echidna | Location: Mornington Peninsula, Australia
Whilst out hiking we came across this beautiful echidna, snuffling his way through the sandy soil for his favourite snack. Sensing our presence he sniffed the air which revealed his sweet gentle face covered in dirt exposing his ravenous appetite for ants. One of the many joys of bushwalking in Australia.
