Whale Breaching at Sunset

Species: Humpback Whale | Location: Baja California Sur, Mexico

We went out at sunset just west of Land's End in Baja California Sur, Mexico to photograph whales and, after dark, listen to their song with a hydrophone. This was one of two adult humpback whales that breached several dozen times over the next hour along with a very young calf on their way back north.
