A male peacock displays his feathers in India's Bandhavgarh National Park during NHA's Grand India Wildlife Adventure.  Female peacocks (technically called peahens) have relatively mundane plumage compared to the males.  Females choose their male suitors based on who has the most colorful train feathers.  Adult peacocks are among the largest flying birds on earth with a wingspan up to five feet.

Eric's illustrious career began in Alaska in 1989, where he worked as a field researcher on many of the state’s diverse animal species, including river otters, waterfowl, moose and reindeer.
