Keeping a Wary Eye Out

Species: Brown bear and 2nd year cub | Location: Hallo Bay, Katmai National Park, Alaska

This mother was with two cubs when she sensed a male approaching.  As she started to check it out, one of the cubs appeared looking around her.  This photo was taken on a trip to Alaska with Nat Hab.

About The Photographer

An amateur photographer, I have been a team photographer for ice hockey teams in the UK, among other sports.

We love wildlife, and Alaska is now our favourite destination.  Having been twice, we consider Brad Josephs a good friend now as well as an excellent guide.
