Bison in Repose

Species: Bison | Location: Waterton Lakes National Park, Alberta, Canada

Just outside of Waterton Lakes National Park in Alberta Canada is a large bison paddock. We spotted several bison taking shelter in some low lying areas from the steady winds that are so common there. As you can see, the bisons hair on its back is windblown and its giving me "the eye."

About The Photographer

I am an "advanced" amateur photographer based in Edmonton, Alberta Canada. I fell back into photography about 5 years ago after a lengthy absence of over 25 years....going all the way back to the days with my 35 mm Canon AE1. It has since become a passion of mine...there's not much out there that I don't enjoy shooting. And still always trying to improve!
