Close Encounter

Species: Elephant | Location: Chobe, Botswana

We were in open jeeps in Chobe National Park, Botswana. An elephant approached us and came within a few feet. She then raised her trunk and I thought she was going to touch us! Instead you could tell she was sniffing. Our guide said he had never seen an elephant come so close. This was the highlight of my trip!
