Species: Anhinga | Location: Wakodahatchee Wetlands, Florida, United States
These two baby anhinga chicks eagerly await their next meal, which could easily be from either parent, as both are known to take care of their chicks. They are known to roost in groups and nest in colonies. Anhingas inhabit southerns swamps and are also known as the snake bird since when they swim, all you can see above the water surface is their snake-like head.
