Species: Brown Bear | Location: Katmai National Park, Alaska

Mother & cub sharing salmon. This photo was taken on a photo tour of brown bear fishing. I flew into Kodiak Alaska and from there took a float plane to a boat anchored in Geographic Harbor in Katmai National Park. I stayed on the boat for 5 days. Twice a day we went ashore in a skiff to photograph the brown bears catching fish. Because the boat had a V-hull, we had to get out in shallow water and wade ashore. For this we wore chest high waders and carried our camera gear.
