Species: Roseate Spoonbill | Location: Everglades National Park, USA
I was shooting birds in early light at the Everglades National Park, and all of the birds had flown off for the morning. Just as I was about to pack it up, this lone spoonbill flew over and landed on the rock. It preened and fluffed and looked around, and basically modeled for us few remaining (and very happy) photographers for a solid fifteen minutes. It was quite the shutterfest, and we all high fived and called it a day. A great day!
