Taking a Rest

Species: ruby-throated hummingbird | Location: York county, Maine, USA

I found this beautiful female ruby-throated hummingbird taking a rest on this twig after watching it flying back and forth from flower to flower getting nectar.  It sat there for several minutes staring at me. I felt very lucky to share the same space with this little creature.
