Who Are You Looking At?

Species: Kirk's Dik-Dik | Location: Serengeti, Tanzania

This image capture is of the elusive Kirk's Dik-Dik. It is one of four dwarf antelope species living in the arid region of eastern Africa, weighing only 10 -12 pounds and standing about 14 - 16 inches at the shoulder. Though you might see them at dawn and dusk at some of the safari camps, they quickly retreat to taller grasses, making it a challenge to photograph them.
