Species: Bat-eared Fox | Location: Serengeti, Tanzania
While adorable looking, the bat-eared fox are actually quite the predator. Besides eating termites, which is 80% of their diet, they eat small rodents, lizards, eggs and young birds. Their jaws contain up to 52 teeth, by far the most of any African carnivore. However, the teeth are much smaller and with less sheering surface formation than teeth of other canid species.
