Quenching Our Thirst

Species: Lions | Location: Ngorongoro Crater, Tanzania

Very early one morning, after descending into the Ngorongoro Crater, we came across a cape buffalo carcass that a pride of lions had just finished devouring. It was then time for a drink, and the nearest water hole would do just fine. We watched up to five lions drinking simultaneously, however, the best early morning reflection was best with these three.
