Species: Moose | Location: North Park, Colorado, USA
I decided to take a hike in an area that I've never been before near the summit of Willow Creek Pass in Colorado, just as it started snowing. I followed a large set of prints and this is what I found! He kept himself surrounded by thick timber, but I found one small window to capture an image.

About The Photographer
Wildlife photography has become a passion and an excuse to spend as much time as possible out in the wilderness. My interests are broad, from photographing the Grizzlies of Yellowstone and The Tetons, to small birds. Residing in Colorado, there are lots of opportunities in observing many forms of wildlife, including rutting Moose and Elk and searching for elusive Bobcats and Mountain Lions. For me, there's more satisfaction in being with and observing nature, but I love the opportunity to share my experiences through my images.
