A beautiful light morph juvenile red-tailed hawk sits on a fence post in a position ready to take off, but decides to check out the photographer (me) for a moment.

I am fortunate to be a Colorado native... a state that has great photo opportunities in every direction I look, and a great variety of wildlife. It's a bit like living in a postcard! Photography is a very gratifying pastime for me. I guess if you are going to have an addiction, then photography is a sweet one to have!
