Species: Short Eared Owl (ASIO FLAMMEUS) | Location: Cambridge, England

Short eared owl coming in to land on a fence post. This is a wild bird. Not a captive. I have been studying these owls for about five weeks, but each time I went to photograph them the light was not good enough. Perseverance paid off in the end.
