Species: Proboscis Monkey (Nasalis larvatus) | Location: Kinabatangan River, Malaysia

This picture was taken on a boat trip along the Kinabatangan river in Malaysia. We were lucky to see many proboscis monkeys feeding and relaxing in the trees. This male was eating and seemed like he was solving a very complex philosophical task.

I share passion for the animals together with my wife who is a zoologist by her profession. We travel around the world to exotic locations and we always try to see the nature in its unspoiled form. My second hobby is high-mountain and volcano climbing.
