The water was very calm and the sea otter was so busy grooming it didn't seem aware of our boat. I loved the contrast of the red tongue against the fur.

Have always loved nature and traveled to many locations to see them, but get some of my best images near my home in California. Sold a few images a few years ago, but really decided to just shot for fun. Ironically some of the best memories are of things that happened too fast to photograph so the images are just in my mind for me to enjoy over and over.
