The Snowy!

Species: Snowy Owl | Location: Ottawa, Canada

This photo was not taken with Natural Habitat Adventures, but was very much inspired by the trip I took with them. I went to Churchill to see the polar bears in hopes of photographing the snowy owl as well. I looked hard, and our guide (Moira and associates) looked hard to find me one but could not. I went back to Canada three months after that adventure and was EXTREMELY lucky to find the snowy. Another one off the bucket list!

About The Photographer

Nature has been my inspiration for as long as I can remember. For the last 10 years, I have been trying to freeze it in frame. Have I succeeded in capturing what I saw? Not at all. But have I frozen a trace of that scene in my imagery? I would hope so. I shall keep trying. The world is just so beautiful. We can not afford to lose it's beauty!
