2016 WILDLIFE PHOTO CONTEST PEOPLE'S CHOICE FIRST PLACE HONORABLE MENTION

This Alaskan brown bear known as 410 ("4 TON") is a massive female that frequents the Brooks River in the Fall. All she would do is eat and sleep. The sleeping caused many traffic jams getting across the floating bridge.

I have been taking pictures since a was 8 when my Father bought me a Canon AT-1 back in the mid 1970's. Since then I have really found my love of Nature Photography. I love traveling to different places and getting pictures of the various wildlife. I really fell in Love with Alaska and Katmai National Park.
