Complete mousing cycle of a red fox. A series of six images that are image-stacked.

A red fox identifies its prey that is running deep under the snow by listening to its movements, and it's also speculated to use the Earth's magnetic field, mostly jumping on the north-eastern direction! Once it pinpoints its prey's location, it leaps into the air and strikes its prey from the top, penetrating deep into the snow! This is called "mousing" and this picture is a result of image-stacking multiple images of the mousing cycle.
