Species: Malachite | Location: Matusadona National Park, Zimbabwe
Matusadona National Park is a game reserve situated on Lake Kariba. Different species of waterfowl are often found sitting in the reeds or perched on the submerged trees that have been there since before the creation of the lake more than 50 years ago. Zimbabwe is a rare gem in that it evokes a sense of true isolation that early explorers encountered.
