Species: Northern Green Frog | Location: Upstate New York, Onondaga County, United States of America
While walking some shallow ponds near my parents' camp, I stumbled upon a small group of frogs congregating along the bank of one of the ponds. Upon seeing them scatter into the water, I quickly tried to see if I could find one to get a decent shot when I found this little Northern Green Frog trying to stay hidden beneath a small leaf which clearly was not much help. But in the end, it stayed perfectly still and did not mind my presence for a few minutes and I was on my way.
About The Photographer
I am a 20-year-old wildlife and nature photographer from upstate New York. My favorite subjects to photograph are waterfowl, hawks, songbirds, and mammals. I also love to photograph the smaller creatures one does not usually see and that you need to take time to look for them to capture and I think that makes the effort a lot more enjoyable.
