Species: Herpestes edwardsii (Indian Grey Mongoose) | Location: Choral forest , India
It was a cold winter morning and I was returning from the local forest when I saw this little fellow near a bush at the roadside licking his chops. He had had a very sumptuous meal I guess because he looked rather content without a care in the world. As a habit, I always carry one of my cameras with me attached with a long lens and boy was I glad I did so that day too!
