Species: Golden-throated Marten | Location: Cat Tien, Viet Nam
I was in a bird hide in early morning under the tree canopy. Light was low, requiring the use of a higher ISO. We were watching birds when suddenly I saw something moving on the ground. It turned out to be a pair of Martens. They stopped and looked at the blind, and then headed over to the water and took a drink. Then they ran off.

About The Photographer
I'm a world traveler who has been traveling the globe for the past 15 years, visiting places that are being most impacted by global warming. My initial photography interest was in macros of plants and flowers, but once I obtained a longer lens, I became an avid wildlife photographer. I enjoy visiting off-the-beaten-path places and capturing images of the flora and fauna. I also enjoy sharing these images and experiences with others through my website and personal presentations.
