Waking Up

Species: Polar Bear | Location: Churchill, NB, Canada

This photo was taken during a Natural Habitat Classic Polar Bear trip last November in the outskirts of Churchill, MB, Canada. When we first found this bear, he was sound asleep. He gradually started to wake up, but continued to doze off and on. The vegetation and angle of sun had made it easier to spot him.
