Ocean Eyes

Species: Marsh Crocodile | Location: Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary, India

I was always into photography but have used my mobile phone to capture images so far. My mother surprised me with my first DSLR only about a month ago and now we're inseparable. My friends had come home for the first time and I was showing them the sights in and around Mysore when we chanced upon this Marsh Crocodile skimming the surface of the water in the Kaveri river. Needless to say, we were spellbound. It took me a while to stop marvelling at its beauty and bring my camera up to click some photos. Out of all the photos I took, this was by far my favourite. There is something majestic and captivating in this eye and I just can't look away.
