Species: Frigatebird | Location: Genovesa Island, Galapagos Islands
Genovesa Island is a collapsed volcano shied, and has a submerged crater which attracts thousands of birds. Male frigatebirds have red throats which inflate to attract females during the mating season, as seen here. I visited the Galapagos Islands with Nat Hab on their Classic Galapagos trip.
