Dinner Time

Species: White rhino | Location: Ongava Conservancy, Namibia

Mom and baby white rhino. Namibia has an extensive conservation program to protect white and black rhinos. We had just come from Damaraland where the Rhino Trust goes to the extreme measure of sedating them and cutting their horns to protect them from poachers. The horns grow back as they are made of the same stuff as our hair and fingernails.

About The Photographer

I love observing wildlife in their natural environment whether at home or around the world. It's a privilege that feeds my soul and capturing special moments with a camera enables these amazing moments to live on for a long time.
