About The Photographer

Heather Reid is a permanent resident of Lake Temagami, Ontario since 1996 and lives year round on one of the many islands on the lake. Her love of photographing nature and wildlife grew from a hobby into a more professional capacity in 2005. The majority of pictures she takes are captured on the lake but also encompasses the surrounding areas in Northeastern Ontario. Heather’s main passions are wildlife and northern lights however she also dabbles in macro and astrophotography as well as landscapes.
