I was driving through the Yukon Territory this month on a trip with my kids, and this bear was just chilling beside the road eating dandelions. We stopped to admire him, and I snapped a few pictures.

About The Photographer

I'm a NYT bestselling novelists and children's book author. My first book of my photos will come out in 2021 (via Penguin Random House). I've been taking pictures for my own enjoyment since I was a teen (I started with a Pentax SLR and use a Canon DSLR these days). It hadn't really occurred to me to share them until recently. I'm a writer. The photography part is how I stop the flow of words in my head.
