Each morning we drove out of camp and with this particular day we faced a spectacular sunrise with a good number of giraffes in exactly the right place. I was particularly fond of this big guy standing above the rest with the sun reaching up his neck.

About The Photographer

I have been a serious amateur photographer since I was in my late teens. Living in Colorado offers great photo opportunities. My wife and I try to visit National Wildlife Refuges and National Parks. We look at our opportunities as good practice for our next Africa adventure.
