Snake Bird's Sunbath

Species: Anhinga | Location: Pooyamkutty, Kerala, India

This image of Anhinga Bird was taken at Kerala, India on my Vacation trip. This bird is also called Snakebird, mainly because of its long snake-like neck. This bird was on a broken tree branch in the side of forest drying in the bright sun. I shot this with Nikon D7100 with 70-300 mm Lens.

About The Photographer

Cropped dsc 7432 edit

From a young age watching wildlife was my hobby but developed it as a serious passion later on when I was able to afford the gear needed to photograph. Now, whenever I get a chance from the busy life I take time to be with nature and to capture these magnificent beauties.
