Patagonian Puma

Species: Puma Con Color | Location: Southern Chilean Patagonia, Chile

I captured this image late one afternoon while staying at a private Estancia whose property borders Torres del Paine National Park in Southern Chile. After waking from her mid-day nap, this puma started her evening hunt. She walked along a ridge line and momentarily sat down to view her surroundings.

About The Photographer

I am a self taught nature photographer currently living in western New York State. For the last six years, my interest has been in photographing wildlife. My primary focus has been capturing images of free roaming wildlife in their natural environment.
