Species: Red Eyed Tree Frog | Location: Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica
I find the red eyes and the bright green upper body make these Red-Eyed Tree Frog look so vibrant and for that, they are my favorite frog. The female is actually the bigger of the two. I went to Costa Rica in hopes of finding one of these frogs, little did I know they would be quite easy to find at night during the breeding season (rainy season) due to the "chack-chack" call the male makes to attract the female.

I am Australian but I live in Dubai and an amateur photographer that likes taking photographs of anything beautiful but mostly nature. I have lived quite a few years in Zimbabwe and Botswana too. I travel to Africa often and over the last few years have been getting more and more interested in getting good wildlife shots. One of my "Bucket List" items is to get a photo I have taken into a magazine one day.
