Colorful Male Wood Duck

Species: Wood duck | Location: Ontario, Canada

The photo was taken in early morning, while the duck was swimming in a pond that was surrounded with high trees blocking the sun light. I had to spend couple hours just watching it and waiting for the bird to move to a lit spot and the bird got used to my presence and realized that i'm not a threat. It swam toward me then claimed a rock in a lit spot and started posing like a professional modal and the result is this picture.
