Species: African Elephant | Location: Chobe National Park, Botswana

Chobe is know for it’s large herds of elephants but, during the Green Season there are plentiful water sources and the elephants don’t have to gather at the Chobe River to drink. That is unless it hasn’t rained for three consecutive days—then the elephants seek the fresh water of the river.
