Golden Delight

Species: African Lioness | Location: Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe

This beautiful lioness is one of the cubs from the famous lion Cecil. I had a great sighting of this particular lion and her pride near Ngweshla Pans. The sunlight was perfect, making her look many different golden tones.

I am Australian living in Dubai. I have lived quite a few years in Zimbabwe and Botswana too. I am an amateur photographer that loves taking photographs of anything beautiful but mostly nature. I travel to Africa often and over the last few years have been getting more and more interested in taking wildlife photos. There is something magical about seeing and experiencing something beautiful and being able to capture it in a photo to look back on forever
