Lunch Time

Species: Mountain Gorilla/Gorilla beringei beringei | Location: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, Uganda

On The Great Uganda Gorilla Safari we had the opportunity to trek through the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in search of mountain gorillas. It is an exciting moment when you move through the bush and come face to face with these magnificent creatures. The rules specify that we are only able to spend one hour observing them. You get lost in your thoughts as you observe the gorillas and marvel at the family structure, the grace with which they move about the forest and how unimpressed they are with our presence in their world. Sixty minutes goes by quickly, but this experience will stay with me forever.
