Winter's Chill

Yellowstone in winter is a beautiful backdrop to the area's wildlife, which makes for fantastic photographs.  I was on Nat Hab's trip Yellowstone Wolf Quest & Photo Adventure when I captured this image of a bison standing in the snow.

About The Photographer

Eric's illustrious career began in Alaska in 1989, where he worked as a field researcher on many of the state’s diverse animal species, including river otters, waterfowl, moose and reindeer. He also served as the Head Naturalist at Kantishna Roadhouse Lodge in Denali National Park. Read Eric's bio to learn more about him!
