Hold Your Breath

Species: Sea Lion | Location: Santa Cruz, Galapagos Islands

When snorkeling off the shore of Santa Cruz, you can encounter many different species of marine life.  This curious sea lion swam right past me!  I took this image while on a Galapagos photography trip with Nat Hab.

Eric's illustrious career began in Alaska in 1989, where he worked as a field researcher on many of the state’s diverse animal species, including river otters, waterfowl, moose and reindeer.
